Bainbridge Island, Early Migrants

Aug 16, 2014 by Janine |
Escaped the heat and craziness for a few days in the Pacific Northwest.

Bainbridge Island

Mt. Rainier

Lots of Wildlife

Banana Slugs!

Views from the Ferry

Seattle

Port Townsend

Harlequin Ducks

Horned Grebes

At home, a male painted bunting stopped by for a visit. He only stayed one day so my guess is that he was on his way south. Hope to see more of them soon!

An oddly colored grackle

Ground doves visit occasionally.

Looking forward to the return of the hummingbirds and other winter birds! Looking forward to winter in general! :)
