Blood moon, birds

Last night we braved cold temps to view and photograph the Super Blood Wolf Moon of 2019.

The garden has been crawling with birds. Funnily enough, all the goldfinches left right after New Year's. We did see two last weekend, but not in the numbers we usually see at this time of year. Flocks of robins and waxwings fly overhead all the time, but it is a mystery as to where the goldfinches have gone.

Painted buntings are still here so all is well!
