Snail Kites at Winding Waters





Next, a trip to Corkscrew Swamp proved cold and wet, but with a few bright spots:


At home, the hummingbirds still delight.





Catbirds, ovenbirds, and the occasional warbler still show up.



In addition to this yellow-throated warbler, we have had a Wilson's Warbler visiting on and off since last October.
We think it is the same individual because the behavior is always the same. It bursts out of the undergrowth and bathes for about a minute, and then disappears.
